Wake up uninspired, unmotivated, overwhelmed or in a downright funk? You’re probably stuck in your head. Shake it off with one question: How can I be of service today?
When we shift our focus to how we can serve, we break free from the confines of our brain and take a swan dive into our heart. We disconnect from ego and reconnect to divinity. We swap limitations for limitlessness. We trip the switch that says our happiness is conditional on getting, having or achieving. (Or that our success can be measured on a spreadsheet.) We shift out of "what can I get?" and into "what can I give?"
This isn't about overachieving, or people-pleasing, or giving in the hopes of getting. This is about remembering that we are all here for a reason (a way we can serve) and that we all have the capability and responsibility to live that destiny.
You were given the GIFT of this life for a reason. You are a creation of the divine. You matter. And you can make a difference in someone's day today. So do it. Go forth and serve. It's your privilege to do so.
When you shift into service, you'll pry yourself loose from the grip of melancholy and malaise and metrics and measuring and instead rise up with a remembrance of the ripple effect you (yes, YOU) create in the world. As you issue waves of love, service and generosity into the world, you lift others up onto these waves and guide them on toward making their own positive contribution to this ocean of consciousness we all share.
So come on. Unstuck yourself. Get out here. Ask how you can serve. Ask how you can help. Let your heart lead the way. Then go make some beautiful waves in the world today.
Your self-doubt shares no one. But sharing your gifts can serve many. Stop asking "who am I to..." Instead, start asking yourself, "who am I not to..."
